A combined 2020 Vision for Honda and GM

New hydrogen FCVs will be developed by Honda and GM jointly!

The Tokyo Motor Show 2015 has hosted leading automobile brands from across the globe for 44 years and it is famous for its craziness and uniqueness around the world. Tokyo is the home to Honda Motors and in-addition to the announcement of various new models, the Honda Motor Company has unveiled its plan for 2020 at Tokyo Motor Show.

HondaMotor Company will partner with General Motors to develop hydrogen fuel cell technology for its FCV models. It will be the first co-developed car by the American giant GM and the Japanese leading automobile brand Honda.  According to the details of the plan, both the companies will jointly work to develop a new hydrogen fuel cell stack and tank instead of the complete vehicle.

The automobile giant will use the technology on their own platforms and will bring different body styles for FCV. Both the companies will achieve the same destination by taking a different ride.

Honda Motors claims its FCV will ride up to 430 miles on a single tank of hydrogen, although fuel cell tank with improved efficiency is also under development for a joint project. The two brands hard work will produce greater results.
